PVC & Bitumen Membrane Flat Roof Systems
Complete insulated flat roof systems with either a PVC single-layer membrane or a two-layer bitumen membrane system.
Depending on the building structure, the roof build-up can be installed on load-bearing trapezoidal roof sheets, a concrete roof base or another project-specific supporting structure.

Complete Roof Build-Up
Depending on the project, the scope can include:
- Load-bearing trapezoidal roof sheets, where required
- Vapour barrier layer
- Thermal insulation
- Roof falls and counter-falls
- PVC or two-layer bitumen waterproofing
- Parapets and roof perimeter waterproofing
- Roof outlets and drainage details
- Snow barriers
- Penetrations, upstands, flashings and interfaces
PVC Membrane Systems
PVC single-layer membrane systems include the required membrane, mechanical fixings and project-specific detailing.
Mechanically fixed PVC membranes are installed with hot-air welded seams, including detailing around parapets, upstands, penetrations, roof outlets and perimeter interfaces.
Two-Layer Bitumen Membrane Systems
Two-layer bitumen membrane systems can be incorporated into the same complete insulated flat roof scope.
The base layer is mechanically fixed to the supporting roof build-up, followed by the second bitumen membrane layer. Parapets, penetrations, roof outlets, perimeter waterproofing and other interfaces are incorporated into the complete membrane system.
Roof Falls & Drainage
Thermal insulation can be configured to form the required falls and counter-falls, coordinated with roof outlets and the project drainage layout.
This allows the insulation geometry, drainage points and waterproofing details to be developed within one coordinated roof package.
Integrated Structural Roof Solution
For steel frame buildings where the scope also includes the load-bearing steel structure and trapezoidal roof sheets, the primary steel, structural roof deck and insulated roof build-up can be coordinated as one system.
Supply & Installation
The complete roofing package can extend from load-bearing trapezoidal roof sheets, where required, through insulation and drainage build-up to the finished PVC or two-layer bitumen waterproofing system.
One coordinated subcontractor scope from the supporting roof base to the finished waterproofing system.
