From Concept to Construction-Ready Design
Every project starts at a different stage. Whether the structural concept is already fully developed or exists only as an initial sketch, our engineering team can take the project forward.
Working from an Existing Structural Design
In most projects, we work with an existing structural design provided for the project. When the supplied design documentation is complete and suitable for fabrication, we use it directly as the basis for production.
Where further detailing is required, our engineering team develops the necessary detailed drawings, connection details and fabrication documentation for the steel structures included within our scope of supply.
As part of our steel structure delivery scope, where required, we also provide the necessary structural calculations and technical documentationfor coordination and approval by the relevant authorities.
Starting from a Sketch or Initial Concept
A completed structural design is not required to start working with us.
At an early project stage, our engineers can develop a preliminary 3D steel modelb ased on the building geometry, initial sketches and project requirements. This provides an early understanding of the structural concept, including the main steel member types, structural arrangement and estimated steel weight.
The preliminary model provides a useful technical basis for further project development. It allows the project team to evaluate structural solutions and approximate steel quantities at an early stage, while providing the geometry and structural information required to continue the design of the roof, façade and other building-envelope systems.
Engineering & 3D Modelling
Our engineering service is integrated into the steel structures we deliver, connecting structural design directly with fabrication and installation.
Depending on the project and the documentation already available, our engineering scope can include structural calculations, 3D modelling, connection detailing, fabrication drawings, assembly documentation and technical coordination with other building systems.
Detailed 3D modelling also allows interfaces and connection points to be reviewed before fabrication, providing accurate information for both manufacturing and site assembly.
Fabrication
Steel structures are fabricated through our network of trusted and experienced manufacturing partners, selected according to the technical requirements, scale and complexity of each project.
The fabrication package includes the structural members, connections and all necessary steel components and details required to complete our scope of works, based on the approved project documentation.
Steel structures are frequently delivered as part of our wider project scope. This allows us to coordinate the steel frame with sandwich panel cladding, roofing systems, glazed structures and other building-envelope elements, helping ensure that dimensions, interfaces and connection requirements are considered together before installation.
Delivery & Assembly
We coordinate steel deliveries with the planned erection sequence and install the structural frame according to the approved drawings and project requirements.
Where the steel structure forms part of our wider roof or façade scope, its installation can be coordinated directly with the subsequent building-envelope works.
Assembly-Only Scope
Where the steel structure has already been designed and fabricated, we can also provide on-site steel structure assembly.
This can be particularly effective when combined with our façade envelope or roofing works, allowing the structural assembly and subsequent installation stages to be coordinated within our scope.
